The Eclipse is the time to reset

It’s eclipse season!

What does that mean?

Energetically, it means it is time to release the things we are dragging around that no longer serve us.

Does it take eclipse season to shed baggage and dead weight? No. But having that energy swirling around us can be very motivating. Why not work with these energies and allow them to help us refine what we’re doing, why we’re doing it and who we’re doing it with?

I woke up today and made a list of what I’m continuing to do that isn’t serving me at my highest and best. In my list, I discovered a lot of too-much-ness. My list included things like:

  • Too much unhealthy food (I see you chicken wings)
  • Too much wine
  • Too much comparison
  • Too much sitting down
  • Too much random worrying
  • Too much procrastination
  • Too much overwhelm

If these things aren’t serving me, how do I let them go?

I start with a long, slow exhale.

And then a long, slow inhale, holding that energetic breath at the top for a few seconds before releasing it again. Try it with me. Use a count of 6 to inhale, hold for 3, and then exhale for 6 if that’s helpful. Feels good, doesn’t it? I find my shoulders sinking down and the tension in my jaw releasing. Then my neck and my forehead. Ahhhhhhhh.

I sat with my crystal meditation sphere, bathed in the sacred smoke of my favorite cedar incense and released it all. The guilt. The self-recrimination. The doubts. The over-indulgence.

It felt AMAZING.

If the idea appeals to you, a ritual to let go of the garbage polluting our minds, spirits and bodies is so powerful. Give it a try.

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve been struggling to move from pandemic lock-down, inner-sanctuary focus to full-on sunshine-bright-world overrun with social engagements and obligations. Last weekend we went to four events. My system is in shock. I’ve been wondering how to come back to some sort of of equilibrium. It’s another example of too-much-ness.

Thinking about releasing things and a big sanctuary reset, I reached out to one of my favorite people, Kisma. She’s many things to me: colleague, coach and beloved friend. We’ve been talking about helping ourselves, helping each other and out of that conversation was born a most wonderful idea! An online Sanctuary and Abundance Challenge. We decided to join forces and because my message of sanctuary is so aligned with her message of abundance and prosperity, I think the timing is perfect for right now.

Who doesn’t want more sanctuary and abundance?

Something to enthusiastically embrace rather than have to let go? Yes please!

Best of all, we decided to make our event free. I want anyone and everyone to be able to join. The sign-up page is here. We do have a limited number of VIP slots if you’re interested and want access to the recordings afterward. We also have something incredible that we’re going to share at the end — I get goosebumps when I think about it.

So it’s a 3-day challenge with 2 bonus days at the end and starts on June 15 — right around the corner! Once you sign up, you’ll get a Zoom link and all the details. But feel free to also email me with any questions at lisa@archive.findingsanctuary.com.

Hope to see you there!

With love and so much gratitude,

Lisa
