Lisa Kahn-Allen is the founder and visionary behind Finding Sanctuary by Lisa Kahn Designs.
Raised by an accomplished interior designer who frequently involved her in projects, Lisa was surrounded by the creativity of the profession from an early age. After obtaining her degree in Interior Design & Housing, Lisa began to chart her own path—transforming interiors into personal sanctuaries. She believes the power of interior design stretches far beyond providing pleasing aesthetics—it offers an avenue to create spaces that inspire joy and allow one to live in a more centered, intentional manner.
In 2000, Lisa founded her eponymous firm. Today, that boutique interior design firm has been transformed into Finding Sanctuary by Lisa Kahn Designs, a purpose-driven brand and enterprise that reflects her mission to harness the power of design for wellness and refuge. She leads a team of design professionals, consistently executing and elevating client’s visions through uniquely-personalized design services, and complete furnishings and turnkey project management anchored in the company’s vision of enabling its clients to have homes that reflect their definitions of sanctuary. Her clients span the globe, with projects ranging from residential to commercial interiors—all with the underlying goal of creating personalized sanctuaries with the zeitgeist of wellness.
